GRA-TEC's unique retaining collar coupled with its modular
connectors make it possible to pre-manufacture tube
assemblies at the assembly bench and then instantly clip them
into place at the point of use.

Assembly and disassembly in confined or awkward locations
can be made without the use of tools.

Single or multiple tube assemblies pre-cut and labeled, make it possible to use the same convenient "wire harness" assembly techniques used by electronic and electrical fabricators to reduce their cost and increase reliability.

How the Swage System Works

1. Select your plastic tubing to meet chemical,
Note the O.D. and wall thickness sizes.
flow and pressure requirements.
2. Select the swage fitting and retaining collar
to fit the O.D.*

3. Slide the retaining collar onto the tube and
press the tube onto the fitting barb.
4. With the manual or semi-automatic swage tool,
draw the retaining collar into place.

The result is a leak proof, semi-permanent, pre-engineered tube and fitting connection rated at the burst of pressure of the tubing.

GRA-TEC's swage system takes the guess work out of "how many turns," or, "how much torque" the assembler has applied.

GRA-TEC facilitates the testing of the assembly before final installation.
