GRA-TEC IMPLEMENTING THE MODULAR DESIGN CONCEPT

CONNECTION TO THREADED COMPONENTS
To connect to valves, regulators, guages, and other
threaded components, adapters are available in both
straight threads and pipe threads:

All threaded adapters are symmetrical and can be installed with socket wrenches or power tools at the assembly bench. Modular fittings can be assembled and disassembled, without tools, in tight spaces leading to increased production and greater package density.

OEM EQUIPMENT DESIGN As an alternative to threaded adapters, GRA-TEC will license qualified Original Equipment Manufacturers to install the female GRA-TEC configuration on proprietary products in place of tapped holes. The license fees are nominal and on volume applications this is a more economical choice over threaded adapters. When GRA-TEC customers purchase components from other manufacturers, thay can specify GRA-TEC connections to be supplied. No Teflon tape or thread sealant Proper alignment Fixed centerline dimensions Greater package density Fewer leakage points Improved flow characteristics Reduced weight All add up to increased production and reduced cost.
