SPUD

1. GRA-TEC MALE FITTINGS: The proprietary
GRA-TEC male end has two grooves on a
hollow cylindrical end of a fitting. The other end
of the GRA-TEC male fitting can be adapted to
accept tubing, hose, male or female pipe threads
or a wide selection of other connections.

O-RING

2. O-RING SEAL: The first groove on the GRA-TEC
spud accepts an elastomeric O-Ring which
provides a leak-proof seal when the fitting is
assembled. O-Rings are available in a variety of
materials and provide reliable seals for most
fluids and most fitting applications.

RETAINER

3. RETAINER CLIP: The secondt groove on the
GRA-TEC spud accepts a retainer clip which
holds the assembled fitting together. Clips are
available in two styles, wire clip (to 250 PSIG)
and flat clips (to 2500 PSIG).

CONNECTOR

4. GRA-TEC FEMALE CONNECTORS: A variety
of female connectors make elbows, tees, crosses
and various combinations.

The GRA-TEC male fitting is pushed into the
female connector and the retainer clip is
inserted. PUSH, CLIP; and the connection is made in
5 seconds.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: Snap your
choice of GRA-TEC fitting into the
connector block, (positive O-Ring Seal).
Next, insert the GRA-TEC retainer clip to
make the fitting a locked connection. The
result - a 1500 PSI Class fitting in brass
(4:1 safety factor) suitable for most
vacuum or pressurized applications.

PUSH - GRA-TEC male fitting with O-
Ring seal pushes into GRA-TEC female
connector.

CLIP - Retainer clip installs by hand to
hold the two components together. This
joint is rated for a working pressure of
1500 PSI!

Only GRA-TEC fittings

7. Joint flexibility reduces the need
for precision location of circuit
components.

8. Makes available many thousands
of useful fittings not listed in
commercial catalogs.
